Empower Our Classroom with Flexible Seating for All!
Funded Dec 17, 2024Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our classroom has been transformed into a more dynamic, comfortable, and student-centered learning space. The addition of ergonomic chairs, surf floor desks, and a supportive teacher chair has allowed students to choose seating that best supports their focus and engagement, fostering independence and confidence. With improved comfort, students are more focused, less restless, and better able to self-regulate, creating a calmer and more productive learning environment. Small group instruction has also benefited, providing a comfortable space for personalized learning and collaboration. Beyond academics, flexible seating has strengthened our classroom community, encouraging respect, responsibility, and teamwork. Students now transition smoothly between seating options based on their learning needs, making our classroom more inclusive and student-driven. Write-On! Engaging Small Group Learning
Funded Oct 30, 2024The addition of the dry erase table has transformed small group instruction in our classroom! Students are now more engaged than ever, actively participating in lessons and collaborating with their peers. The table's interactive surface allows them to solve math problems, brainstorm ideas, and practice writing directly on the table, making learning hands-on and exciting.
I've seen a significant boost in confidence as students eagerly share their work and receive immediate feedback during group sessions. Cozy Spaces for Learning and Play

It has become the heart of our space—a place where we gather daily for storytime, whole group activities, independent reading, play, and more. This soft, inviting area fosters collaboration, a sense of community, and comfort, giving my students a welcoming spot to connect, share ideas, and learn together. This addition has not only enhanced our classroom environment but has also created a shared space that inspires joy, creativity, and belonging for everyone. Engaging Indoor Recess for First Graders!
Funded Oct 4, 2024The new indoor recess materials have brought an incredible sense of joy and excitement to our classroom community. On rainy or cold days, when we can't go outside, my students now look forward to indoor recess as a time to explore and create together. The LEGO sets and Magna-Tiles encourage their creativity and teamwork, as they work in small groups to build unique structures and solve design challenges. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and they've already started building friendships and sharing ideas in ways they hadn't before.
These materials are also helping students develop important social and emotional skills. The collaborative nature of building with LEGOs or crafting with stamp pads has given them valuable practice in taking turns, listening to one another, and celebrating each other's successes. They are learning the importance of patience and flexibility as they work on group projects, and I can see how these skills are carrying over to other areas of their school day.
The storage benches have also made an impact, as they help us keep our classroom organized and create a calm, inviting space. Having designated places for our materials has taught students the responsibility of taking care of shared items, and they feel pride in keeping our space tidy. Thanks to your generosity, indoor recess has become a time that brings our class closer, strengthening our sense of community and creating lasting memories.”

Organizing Our Classroom: New Bookshelves and Storage
Funded Oct 4, 2024Since receiving the new bookshelves and storage bins, our classroom has transformed into an organized, inviting space where students can easily access their books and materials. The sturdy shelves give us room for our entire library, and now every book has a dedicated place. My students love choosing books independently, and they're discovering new favorites every day. This small change has brought such excitement and pride to their reading time!
The storage bins have also made a tremendous difference. We can now neatly store our math manipulatives, art supplies, and games, which keeps our learning environment tidy and ready for each new activity. This organization has helped my students develop routines and stay focused, building a sense of responsibility and ownership over their materials.

Indoor Recess Is a Bore, No More!

Your generosity during these challenging times is truly making a difference in the daily lives of my students. As we navigate the ongoing global pandemic, it's vital that we do everything possible to keep our classroom clean, safe, and healthy—and thanks to you, we are able to do just that!
The antibacterial soap, sanitizing wipes, and backup masks you helped us secure are being put to great use. Students are now able to wash their hands multiple times throughout the day, creating an environment where hand hygiene is second nature. With the help of sanitizing wipes, we're also able to keep our desks and surfaces clean as we transition between activities, ensuring that everyone feels secure when handling materials or eating in the classroom. Additionally, your donation of extra masks ensures that no child has to go without proper face covering if their mask becomes dirty or lost. This simple yet essential supply keeps us all safer during our school day.

Funded Oct 4, 2020It is with a very grateful heart that we extend our sincere thanks to you. We deeply appreciate your compassion, empathy, and generosity during this extraordinarily challenging school year.
With your help, we have been able to keep our classroom as germ free and healthy as possible. We have the antibacterial soap to wash our little hands several times a day and plenty of paper towels for drying. Let's not forget the hand sanitizer that we use in between washes! We have a supply of extra masks for student use when theirs become soiled or broken, and a supply of antibacterial wipes to keep all of our surfaces clean and sanitized.
As these materials have been incredibly hard to find in stores earlier in the year, it has been so reassuring to know we had what we needed to keep our students and staff that join us healthy and safe. This is entirely due to your kindness and giving spirit. With your help, we are rocking this school year! We are safe, happy, and HEALTHY!”

Captivating Curiosity with Chromebooks

CALCULATED Success
Funded Jun 10, 2018Your generous donations have enabled us to truly blossom in 5th grade math! Each student now has access to their OWN calculator for class use! Previous to now, students were sharing a few substantially old calculators that lacked the functionalities we needed for several concepts that we cover.
My students are most excited over the fact that these calculators are much more advanced than our few old ones! They look fancy, exciting and can do so much more than our old ones, like multiply fractions! These calculators have been especially helpful to those students who require extensive supports in math - they now have better tools to help them succeed and achieve.”
