These materials are going to make a huge impact on the learning in the classroom. The rugs, seats and ottoman will be comfortable places that students can go in the classroom to feel safe, calm down, or just relax and read. Many of my students are active and energetic! They love to learn and items such as the wobble stools and kick bands are going to aid their ability to focus and learn. These items also will aid the students with muscle strength in their legs and abdomen promoting body health as well! Many students struggle to feel comfortable in the classroom which affects their ability to learn and thrive. Having an environment in the classroom that mirrors home is going to help open students up and feel safe enough to learn. Each of these items already have a chosen space and use in my classroom. These items with help my students feel safe and comfortable in the classroom as well as aid students who have difficulty focusing and provide an alternative place for all students to learn.
