Increase student engagement with iPads during Reading instruction. The use of an iPad provides multiple opportunities for me to create a more personalized interactive learning experience for my students not only in Reading instruction but in all areas of our day. Having more individualized opportunities can be meaningful to all students and assist them in improving their literary skills. Improving reading skills improves self-confidence and leads to a better understanding in all areas of education as well as everyday life. Struggling readers get discouraged, frustrated and almost always shut down when reading is difficult.
