In a few short weeks I will be meeting my class of second graders for the first time! This will be my first year teaching second grade and I can't wait to begin this new adventure. I will be teaching in a building which houses the district's kindergarten, first, and second graders. Over 50% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. There will be approximately 28 students in my class and it will be both an ethnically and economically diverse group of children - which I love!
