Providing access to online tools and online learning will benefit my students with Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and Autism. Many of our students have difficulty learning with traditional methods. This will allow students to learn at their pace and stay engaged in their learning. Touch screen Chromebooks support students with Autism that have difficulty navigating a mouse or touch pad. Many of our students also have Occupational Therapy support for pencil grip and fine motor skills. Touch screens will allow for students to focus on the learning task rather than trying to navigate other barriers. Our classroom would like to utilize online programs that are specifically designed for students with disabilities.
