Now more than ever our children are living in a digital world. What better way to let their creative writing flow or telling their story through an interactive and digital story! As an educator, I will always try my best to provide plenty of opportunities and resources to enrich my students' experience in school. The digital world is ever-growing and the possibilities for creativity and learning is endless! Imagine the creativity that can spark from four simple words, "Tell me a story..." Can you picture the energy and excitement in the classroom when students are not only creating but the leaders of their own learning? Using iPads within our classroom provide an incredible and endless resource that can give my students the tools to be able to express themselves through digital storytelling and research. My students would benefit from being able to project research, retell a story, and monopolize on their own creative abilities in an engaging and innovative way. Utilizing technology through these iPads would allow us to explore a whole new world of fun and interactive learning! My students will be able to act out, write, record, and use photography to research and write stories! Digital storytelling apps available on the iPad will help them create and share visual masterpieces with photos, captions, and narration. The skills learned with this project can be easily applied to other content areas as well! Help me give my students the ultimate digital experience!
