Early this year, I discovered my students love to write. They ask to take notes throughout the day. When we have a free moment during class, or even when I'm teaching, they have their notebooks out. Whether they are taking notes, creating a story, or responding to a text we just read, it is easy to see they are dying. These writing process folders will be a game changer for my students! They will transform the way students view writing and literacy. By using these folders, students will see that writing goes through a series of steps before a final product is ready. The folders organize the writing process in a kid friendly manner, where students can gauge where they are in the process. Students will be able to lead their own writing development through each step of writing process by using these folders.
