Reading Rocks, but our classroom library doesn't support our desire to read different types of books. I need the help of donors to build our classroom library. My students need access to engaging fiction and nonfiction titles that are on the correct reading level. Many times, my students are not able to choose books they love, because they are too hard or too easy. Reading is the foundation for learning and your donation will help foster a love of reading for all students. I am asking for a complete series Eyewitness Nonfiction Readers, a set of Fiction and Nonfiction Paired Classroom Classics, a compete series of I Can Read! Readers, and 36 different sets of leveled books for independent reading in our classroom. The goal of this project is to build our classroom library to expose my students to stories and topics that are meaningful and interesting - no matter what level they are reading on.
