I teach special education students in a middle school setting. My classroom is full of intelligent, kind, and hard working students. My students are all below grade level in reading and math skills, but work hard everyday to close the gap! Being in a classroom can be overwhelming and frustrating for students that are struggling with basic foundation skills. I am working hard to create a welcome and comfortable environment to help students be in the best mindset for learning. In our class we foster a growth mindset, where we can do anything we put our mind to, we just need extra help to get there. This is my first year teaching my own class and I'm excited for all the possibilities and learning to come! As the classroom comes together and my students settle in I'll post updates!
