My students need a Sphero robotic ball to help them better apply the 4C’s: collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. This purchase will allow my students to increase their knowledge and skills by combining math, science, writing, and art with technology. This is the world’s first hands-on, app-controlled robotic ball and works with most tablets. This will inspire the future engineers and inventors of our community by laying out the foundation for computer science and nurturing students imaginations like no other program. This purchase would expand and increase the programs I have implemented to increase students’ ability to synthesize, apply, and present information. This will promote educational excellence by enhancing my classroom tools. Sphero BOLT’s programmable 8x8 light matrix allows for multiple opportunities for coding. This Sphero is capable of tracking speed, acceleration, and can "talk" to other BOLT'S. It has a scratch-resistant shell, and is equipped with Bluetooth SMART.
