Since technology plays such an important part of our lives in today's society, it is becoming increasingly important for students to understand how to utilize these materials. My students will be able to use these iPads throughout the day to increase engagement in nearly every subject. Students will use the iPads to take online assessments, which will help prepare them for testing in the upper grades. They will use different applications to help increase their learning experience in reading, math, language arts, science, and social studies. Using iPads in the classroom gives us an unlimited amount of options to increase student engagement. As a believer that learning occurs through experiences rather than worksheets, students will have the opportunity to create videos and voice recordings to demonstrate their learning in all subjects. My students' motivation to further challenge their learning will be greatly increased with the opportunity to use technology on a daily basis. All donations will not only benefit my current students, but all the students that I will be fortunate enough to teach in the future as well. Access to iPads in our classroom will help create an engaging atmosphere that students crave to visit every day. I want my classroom to be a sanctuary for my students and the incorporation of technology will help achieve this. The opportunity to use technology will prepare my students for the real world and make them more successful life long learners.
