My 6th grade students are an amazingly diverse group of children. We are racially and culturally diverse, and enjoy learning about and from one another. Our school is a Title 1 School, and our programs are gears toward providing all students with a quality education, despite barriers we may face. Recently I have had non-English speakers, students with Visual Impairments, students with academic and behavioral disabilities, and financial barriers. Together, we learn about history and how we, all of us, can work to change the future. We are “movers and chalets”. A family of world changers.
