Additional literacy within the classroom will help me support students' curiosity on different topics, extend instruction beyond normal conversations, and allow them the experience to explore topics on at their own pace. Having students with books in hand is a great way to get them talking with one another and sharing ideas, things learned, and help them become life long learners. Having more books available on different topics will allow my classes to dive deep into subject material that may not be discussed otherwise. These books will reach students on all levels of reading and learning and help them connect with other learners.
