My students come from very diverse homes and not all are able to bring their own headphones to school. We are blessed with a class set of Chromebooks and utilize them often. However, when sound is involved, it makes it either noisy or where the students can't hear at all. Having a class set would mean every student would be able to get the full effect of the assignments and activities. It will encourage them to keep learning and will also aid in blocking out sound during tests. It will also keep my students on the same pace and encourage them to pay attention because they can hear every word.
