I am glad you are visiting my page! My name is Nerlie Alexandre and I am an elementary grade teacher in Smyrna Georgia, one of Cobb county's poorest area. I wish I can tell you that I only teach the learning standards but I am not. I love my job and all the challenges that come with it and watching my students grow from who they were when they walked into my classroom to the citizen they become by the end of the year is very rewarding. From teaching ABCs and 123s, reading, writing to brushing their teeth in the morning; making sure they eat something before they start learning, etc... I will not trade my job from any other profession in the world. Your help and support are welcomed and appreciated. Fondly, Mrs. Alexandre
