Throughout the year, my class focuses on our classroom motto: "Even though we have a lot to do, we always have time to do something nice for someone else". During a season when it is easy to focus on what we would like to receive, my class is going to focus on what we can give to others through a fun and unique art based community service project. I am asking for two tie dye kits, thirty-six white pillowcases, and latex free gloves. This Christmas, my Third Grade classroom would like to send some bright and cheerful tie dyed pillowcases to the UC Davis Children's Hospital. It is our hope that by sending these gifts to the patients, we are able to bring a smile to their faces.
