By having these different seating options it will allow my students to choose what seating works best for them. If they are comfortable in their seat they'll be more likely to pay attention. These different seating options can help give them movement and sensory stimulation while they stay on task with their school work. Children today need more opportunities for sensory input and output throughout their day. These materials will allow me to do this while we are still focused on our daily work and tasks. The items such as the kinetic sand and sensory tubs will be utilized in our daily workstations where I will incorporate practice with our spelling words, sight words, etc. using these materials.
