Many of my students have limited use of technology at home, so it is important for them to have access to it at school. Although we are in a Title I school, technology is limited to 3 desktop computers in our classroom. My students love using technology and are always excited to discover something new! In our ever-changing world, it is imperative that I teach my students how to utilize technology. The Amazon Fire tablets s will bring millions of book titles into our classroom for studying, research and enjoyment. I will introduce my students to a blended learning environment by including technology in daily lessons. Interactive apps can be utilized for collaboration and sharing. We use guided math and guided reading in our classroom. I would love to have a station where students can get on the Kindles to practice math skills, listen to audiobooks, or share their learning with one another.
