I teach second and third grade to an eager bunch of diverse learners. I believe that all children, regardless of where they live, or what their parents do, deserve a quality education. I believe that young children learn best by "having fun" while learning. I know that children learn from one another and so I foster a cooperative learning community. I work at an IB school where children are presented with problem based inquiry learning. I teach my students to be Global Citizens: being tolerant, respectful, communicators, thinkers, reflective, and cooperative. The children of today will work in fields that have not been created yet. They will work to solve problems we don't know exist. They will use technologies that have not yet been invented. I have to prepare them for a world that we can't even imagine. My students are creative problem solvers, thanks to all your generous donations!
