Flexible seating is mind blowing! Students feel empowered when they have the power of choice in the classroom. We need stability balls. Engagement and participation will improve due to the movement the balls will allow. Physical fitness has been researched and proven to increase academic growth. A great many of my students struggle with seating and being still due to their disabilities. Many of my students enjoy movement and interactive lessons as they are kinesthetic learners. During reading groups or math groups, my students will be able to utilize the balls during instruction. The balls will reduce distractions and increase my students' ability to focus. The stability balls will be extremely beneficial for my wonderful super students.
