Sparking an interest in science exploration at a young age with fun and engaging activities is sure to make memorable and teachable moments in student's lives. My interest in bringing hands-on dissections to my students stems from my Animal Science background. I want to instill a sense of wonder, awe, and respect for nature and animals. What better way to let students engage, learn and explore than letting them get up close and personal and dissecting cow eyes? With the use of Carolina Scientific dissecting kits and cow eyes, students will gain an understanding the anatomy and vocabulary of a cow eye. Students will use cooperation, scientific principles, eye anatomy vocabulary and fine motor skills as they dissect a cow eye.
