These supplies will give students a wide variety of glazes, allowing them to add more color, texture and depth to their art. With the additional supplies, students will be able to experiment with new techniques, such a screen printing and under glazes. Help my students to learn more about the ceramic arts by giving the gift of COLOR glazes. Glazes give pottery that vibrant shine, color and beauty we all enjoy. Students love creating something with their own hands and when finished, covering it with beautiful glazes, rich in color and texture to express their unique personalities. Art is a kaleidoscope of COLOR, an extension of who we are. It can represent how we feel, what we are interested in, what we care about and more. Art can also be useful, it can be a functional part of our lives. Ceramics can be beautiful and useful, students often create COLORFUL works of art that they can use at home in their kitchen as cups, bowls and plates. Art COLORS our lives. Art COLORS other aspects of our lives as well. Touching everything in our path. We learn math, reading and writing through art. Humans can express emotion and creativity through art. Art allows us to work with their our hands, giving us tactile experiences helpful for relieving stress and aiding students with special needs. Art encourages us to dream, think outside "the box", imagine what the world might be like with more COLOR!
