My students come from all over a large city. Some are able to walk to school while others ride a school bus for 30 minutes just to get here. After sitting in chairs all day, it is a release to come to music class where they are able to move around and be creative. They love the chance to sing and perform music. We have some small rhythm instruments (sand blocks, rhythm sticks, triangles, etc. )but nothing that plays a melody. Many of the instruments are original to the 50 year old school!
