I am working to build an exciting library of books for my ESL classroom. I included a variety of books. Part of my job as an ESL teacher is to teach students the mechanics of the English Language. The word fun books can help do that in an engaging way way. The bilingual fairy tales and exciting illustrated adventure stories will get our students excited to read. There are also books to help them learn about important general topics such home and transportation in a culturally relevant way. I also included the conversation cubes because several of the students also need to work on their speaking skills.
