My students come to school full of life and ready to learn! Being an intervention teacher all of my students often times need to move constantly. They need more flexible and comfortable seating options to enhance engagement and learning. Studies show that students learn better when they are physically active and comfortable. Students are able to bounce on an exercise ball, sit, stand, kneel, etc. Some of the seating options that will be provided with this project are wobble stools, and exercise balls and lap desk that gives them the option to sit on the floor. All of these options will give my students the opportunity to sit comfortably and move around while they are learning. This project would significantly help my students stay engaged in our learning throughout the day. I want them to feel comfortable and at home in our classroom. I cannot wait to see all of the things we can do with flexible seating!
