A kidney shaped table will enable our class to have small group instruction with the classroom teacher in reading, writing, and grammar. The table will also be used for cooperative learning. Students included in my classroom with special needs will also be able to stay in the classroom more easily when working in small groups with a teacher or educational assistant. A place to work in small groups will promote inclusion, allow me to work more effectively with students, and create an environment of learning. Small group instruction allows me to differentiate instruction and better meet the needs of student.

About my class
