My fourth graders are a lively bunch of diverse and energetic little scholars who come in each morning excited to learn. Many come from low-income families and difficult backgrounds. Despite our differences, we have come together and created a wonderful classroom community. They've already earned exemplary behavior rewards this year! I teach at a Title 1 school in a classroom with 7 students on IEPs, 2 on 504 plans, 4 in the ELL/ELD program, and several low-academic students, all striving to learn and grow.

About my class
