My scholars will participate in a House system that encourages leadership development and increases student accountability. With these items for alternative seating, my students will have a place to conduct House Meetings, and peer tutor one another in a comfortable environment that is inviting and makes students want to stay after school to help one another. This area will also be a place for teacher-student conferences, as well as parent conferences. The classroom environment sets the tone for learning and with a space for alternative seating my scholars will be more inclined to do just that.
