Our Health and Fitness program focuses on promoting lifelong fitness habits rather than just sports. Our goal is to provide students with technology to enhance workouts and learn about health topics. Our school is 70% white and 30% minorities. We have 40% of our students on free or reduced priced lunch and 10% of students with limited English. Our school is older and was recently converted from an 8/9 campus to a 7/8 campus. During that transition, we lost a lot of PE supplies. We have also had to redo curriculum to meet the needs of our younger students. We have a diverse population of students ranging from minorities, SPED, ELL, and overweight kids and are looking for ways to meet the needs of all students.
