In a classroom of 26 Kindergarteners it is important to have flexible seating options! In my classroom I need more flexible seating so that my students can comfortably participate in collaboration activities that I use to develop their sense of community. Flexible seating also allows for movement and helps with sensory input/output. Students are able to work in the space that works best for them, rather than sitting in a traditional desk. This will allow students more space for reading because they will have options for reading spots and building their reading stamina. For STEM projects, students will be able to move throughout the room, and work as a group to achieve common goals.
Balance Ball Seat Bundle- these are for students to use while working at the tables. They are great for fidgeting, and are much comfortable for working on projects.
Soft Seats are used for sitting on the floor and can be used at a table or for sitting around the class for reading time.
Comfy Pillows will be added to the library for students to relax while reading.
Wobble Cushions help with the wiggles and make sitting at the table easier for those that have a hard time sitting for extended periods of time.
Childcraft Chalk Spots Seating - this is a carpet for our front seating area. This will make group time more comfortable and give the students a place to lay while reading.
