I am returning to the classroom after a year of virtual and hybrid learning! There are many uncertainties surrounding the world, especially in schools during the pandemic. At home, a lot of my students don't have an environment that is conducive to learning. It is important to me that all of my students feel safe, comfortable and loved in our classroom. Currently, my classroom does not have a carpet for students to sit together, flexible seating for my students with disabilities or a library. Your contributions would help build classroom community; a carpet for morning meetings as well as a space to collaborate, the shark lap desk will allow students to have autonomy and choose where they do work the best and the library furniture will create an organized space for students to begin their journey reading. Purchasing these items will help make the transition back to the classroom seamless. These items will allow me to create a positive, supplied and happy environment, that will continue to enhance the classroom community that I strive to create.
