Hello, I am a Special Education Teacher for students with Emotional Behavioral Disorders in a federal level three setting. I have 6-10 students in any given year. These students are often from low income situations. My goal as a teacher of students with special needs, especially EBD, is to create a safe and welcoming environment that fosters a love of learning. While I have a great support system for curriculum, I would like to build my classroom with rewards and incentives for students. I am in most need of high-interest reading materials for when students complete their assignments as well as things like coloring books or games for the students. While I do teach English and Math, I also teach Life skills, organization, team building, and time management. Thank you for taking the time to look at this and consider helping build my classroom library and reward system for success!
