My goal is to provide my students with an excellent lab experience in Biology and Environmental Science. In order to do this, students need to interact with each other and discuss what they have observed, make predications, and debate conclusions. Unfortunately social distancing can make this difficult. I have a beautiful tree-lined area in front of my classroom. My plan is to set up the tables in this area, so students can perform laboratory experiments and engage in discussion without the anxiety often caused by social distancing and crowded indoor classroom conditions.
