I serve Sixth grade students from a high poverty area. The majority of my students are faced with not only learning the content but are also challenged by learning a new language as well. My students do not have English support at home, so they must work extra hard to be successful. Even though my students face many obstacle they come to school eager to learn. I try to break down the barriers they face by integrating technology to enhance my lessons, and creating 21st century learners.

About my class
