Storyworks magazine targets specific grade levels and covers each of the core curriculum areas. It is simply amazing. The stories are very high interest and engage the students. It provides critical-thinking questions that are phenomenal; it allows students to think deeply about text. This magazine provides opportunities for understanding and retention of curriculum content through leveled, high-interest text that is relevant and motivational to students and engaging activities that reinforce skills. With Storyworks, my students will be engaged and take ownership of their learning. It’s an all-inclusive resource that offers differentiation for students below or above level as well as for my English language learners. Every issue of Storyworks is aligned to support today's challenging standards in English Language Arts. This resource will help raise the level of proficient readers in my classroom and also create a love for reading!
