We have 3 math teachers (2 high school 1 junior high). We divide our calculators up between the 3 in order to give each class a classroom set. Needless to say, they disappear, never make it back, break, etc. I am down to old Ti 84s and some really old Ti 83s (with broken keys) and not enough for a class set. So with these new calculators, I hope to have enough for a class set and each kid can focus individually on any specific task. With the extra calculators I can have enough to allow them to be checked out and taken home for homework use as well. With these calculators they have a color screen and will allow the students to better visually compare when graphing equations or more than one equation. The colors will represent the separate functions. Another thing I believe will be fantastic to have is the capability to connect and upload new updated programs to them. The few calculators I have will not connect and the software cannot be updated.
