My students will be using these materials to explore and learn. They will work cooperatively in groups to problem-solve, build critical thinking skills, and to develop language and social skills. Having a variety of materials available, from Brain Blox wooden building blocks to Mag Builders to Straw Builders and connectors, will allow for student-choice, which is highly motivating. "Children learn as they play. More importantly, in play, children learn how to learn." O. Fred Donaldson Students are naturally curious about the world around them. STEM activities allow them to develop a plan, create, test, and then revise plans based on their experiences. You couldn't ask for a better life skill than that!
