I would like to purchase a Color Changing Light Table for my early childhood classroom students. Some of our students suffer from the effects of lead poisoning from drinking city water. These students struggle to develop at a normal pace. My main goal is to keep them engaged in periods of learning. I believe the color-changing light table will help to keep them engaged to learn their letters, colors, shapes, and promote fine motor skills while using manipulatives. A light table is a perfect tool to provide visual sensory input. It is difficult for most of my students to remain focused for any extended length of time. A light table that changes colors with manipulatives will keep their attention, and that gives us the time to engage in language. We would be able to spend time discussing colors, shapes, letters, numbers while students are actively engaged with the light table.
