Flexible seating allows students choice during independent work time and in cooperative groups to be empowered with their learning . It creates an environment that fosters student success. By providing students with choice and comfortable seating options students tend to do better, feel better about school while maximizing their learning. Currently, my students are able to choose where they work by sitting on the floor and using clipboards to work from. Flexible seating creates an environment that allows students an opportunity to show their commitment to their learning and behavior. The wobble stools and wobble cushions I have selected help with both choice, comfort, and room for "wiggle" movement. These products help students with sensory issues as well as provide a comfortable learning environment.
