With my current furniture layout, we are very limited in the ability to transform the classroom for different needs. These materials will help students be able to work together in a variety of ways depending on what will work best with our lessons and activities. My students will be able to practice their reading, speaking, listening, and writing English ability more effectively with a classroom with furniture that inspires and promotes collaboration. We learn to interact and share our learning with each other daily. My students would enjoy having the ability to sit and collaborate in a variety of ways depending on the task at hand. Sometimes we presenting information to each other, analyzing a text, sharing a special book, writing a story or creating a product, writing in our journals about a topic, or using technology. Having flexible seating and the Flex Space Collaborative Floor Workspace will help us adjust the seating to what we need to match what we are doing.
