The Broadcast Journalism students at our middle school are learning valuable lessons in researching, writing, and producing video broadcasts that are viewed by students at the school as well as friends and family online. My students are anxious to broaden and strengthen their education experience by also completing the video editing which today is provided by outside volunteers. The addition of this simple computer workstation will provide these bright young students everything they need to produce their own news broadcasts from start to finish. As these editing skills become part of their educational experience, a great number of additional opportunities open in the visual and performing arts.

About my class
