I teach in a Title I elementary school. Our budget is stretched to the point of breaking. My students have access to 6 desktop computers in the classroom. With an interactive whiteboard, they will adopt a deeper approach to learning and belong to a collaborative learning classroom. With an interactive whiteboard, numerous learning styles are engaged simultaneously. Visual learners see the lesson. Tactile learners are able to manipulate images on the screen while the auditory learn to hear the audio portion. Lastly, with an interactive whiteboard, I have the opportunity to access millions of online resources that I can now incorporate into my lessons.
