Using a digital camera to take pictures during our work time gives the students something to talk about during our review time. One of the goals for our Pre-k class is to become comfortable speaking in English with a group of people.I can quickly upload the pictures to be displayed on our classroom interactive board and voila, the discussion can begin! To help keep our camera clicking, my project includes a charger for the camera battery. Later in our school careers, our creative writing abilities will show the benefit of these early conversation builders. Using pictures as a place to begin, gives us ideas for our conversations. Early experiences with conversation will help our imaginations develop.
