My students are all Spanish speakers in a first and second grade split classroom. Our school is Title I and nearly 30% of our population are English Language Learners. My students in particular are learning to read in Spanish and we have no CD read alongs for them to enjoy. We are the first 1st/2nd bilingual class in the district and it is difficult to find challenging reads for my students at their grade level.
