Students in my classroom love to learn and notice everything around them! Unfortunately, my students live in high poverty situations and do not get to experience new things very often. Our school does as much as possible to make the learning environment positive, comfortable, and successful for each student that attends. Furniture in the teachers' classrooms is not something that is easily updated and replaced. Having a comfortable clean carpet to sit on will make reading and writing more inviting. Students will look forward to sitting on a fresh and clean learning space instead of a dirty hard area. Little changes such as carpet in a classroom make huge differences in learning experiences.

About my class
