I have two goals with each class that I teach. The first is to make my classroom a place where my students want to be. I want them to WANT to be there. By providing as many hands-on opportunities as I can, allowing my students to be creative, and encouraging a classroom community of learners, I aim to achieve my first goal. My second goal is to help my students make memories. When they reflect on their year in my class, I want them to smile and think, "I remember that. Mrs. Johnson taught me that!"
