My students are forty-five 2nd graders from Louisiana. More than half of my students qualify for free or reduced price lunch. Most of my students do not have computers in their home or any access to technology. I have a high population of English Language Learners that speak various languages. They are hardworking, determined learners that are overcoming many obstacles as young students. My students are the reason I teach, and I look forward to their eagerness to learn every day.
