First, I want to share with all of you my LOVE of teaching and I completely enjoy each and every student that forms part of my life. I'm very excited to begin another great year with my fifth graders! They are very eager to learn and I understand their diverse needs and learning styles. Because of the diverse needs, my teaching style is student-centered. Through this project, you will greatly help provide more spaces in the classroom for collaboration, as many studies show students' motivation will engage them in their learning. My goal is to create a purposeful classroom design by maximizing space & offering more seating options for as many as 30 students. Specifically, for students who work best while standing, at a comfortable spot on the carpet, a flexible seat, or a table with more space to collaborate. My goal is to make each and every of my fifth-graders the most successful person they can become.
