Comfortable seating is must for learners! Have you ever sat in a traditional school chair and desk? They are hard and uncomfortable! Current research shows that students learn. Enter when they are comfortable and have a choice in where they sit, stand, or lay while learning. My students love the flexible seating we already have, and the new furniture we are asking for will give them more seating choices to work collaboratively. Students will have a choice of different types of seating, or standing, as they engage in collaborative learning and class lessons. Flexible seating is beneficial for all students, especially students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
