Who needs individualized learning in a small group setting? All students do! The purpose of having classroom laptops is to help support those students who just need a little more help with their learning. Because of the high English Language Learner population in our class, having a small group set of computers for only our use will help me differentiate my instruction with technology. With the use of websites (In which books are read to the students), and programs like Accelerated Reader(AR), where kids can show their comprehension skills on the computer, these laptops would be so useful. This project will help me close that learning gap that so many students get caught in. I believe through technology and implementation of well thought out lessons, these children will start their path on a successful academic future!
